Absolute Carnation oil is solvent extracted with petroleum ether from the flowers. The plant is grown commercially in France.

Carnation oil has a rich, warm, floral scent and is used in perfumery.

The oil is sometimes used as a room freshener and has stimulating,uplifting and aphrodesiac properties.

CAUTION

Always dilute carnation oil to 5% or less in a carrier oil before applying to the skin
