Bog Myrtle Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the blossoms, leaves and twigs.
The pure oil is a clear dark amber coloured liquid with a fresh, sweet, herbaceous scent.

USES

Bog Myrtle has been used as a bactericide, an antidepressant and is said to strengthen the nerves.

CAUTION:

Bog Myrtle essential oil is not recommended for use in aromatherapy.
