Neroli Absolute Oil Obtained by Ethanolic extraction of the concrete, itself produced by solvent extraction of the flowers of Citrus Aurantium L.
This consists of 2/3 distilled Neroli blossom and 1/3 absolute extracted Neroli blossom.
This is because the neat absolute has a harsh note on its own, but softens down well in Neroli oil to give an agreeable bouquet.

It is produced commercially in Italy, France, North Africa and Sicily.

Neroli oil was discovered in the late 1600s and it was said to be named after Anne-Marie, Princess of Nerole, in Italy.
The Roman god Jupiter gave an orange to his sister Juno when he married her, and brides have carried the blossom to calm nerves ever since.

Pure Neroli Absolute oil has a smell that is true to nature, of wonderful bitter-orangey blossom.
It is a hypnotic sedative, calming, relaxing and anti-depressant.

In aromatherapy it is excellent for any kind of stress or tension, over-excitement, anxiety, insomnia or fears, and it is excellent for improving dry or mature complexions.

USES:

Massage, baths, inhalation. Since Neroli is a natural tranquilliser, use it with other relaxing oils for the sweetest bath imaginable.
It is wonderful for any relaxing massage back, scalp, neck, face, hand or foot and improves skin texture at the same time.
It is an ideal and safe oil to use during pregnancy.
And to feel happy in the face of adversity, inhale a few drops from a tissue or scent your entire house with its calm, sensual smell.

CAUTION

Diluted Neroli Absolute oil is perfectly safe for home.
All citrus oils need to be stored in a cool, dark to preserve them and keep them fresh.
